Asia Insurance Review is the official journal of East Asian Insurance Congress, ASEAN Insurance Congress and the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference. They are a Permanent Observer of the ASEAN Insurance Council and referred as the authoritative source on developments and trends in Asia in the United Nations’ insurance documents.
The Requirement
Asia Insurance Review needed a comprehensive content management portal to manage all their digital content and to store all published articles at one place.
The Challenge
The client wanted to store all the published content in one place. The requirement called for the use of a powerful content management system that would enable editing, storing and publishing of digital content and magazines. The solution had to help the readers with real-time updates and the purchase of all published magazines online. Since the objective of the client’s business is to share the latest happenings in the insurance industry, the solution had to be fit for the purpose of seamless sharing of content on a large scale, in an organized manner.
The Solution
To enable the uninterrupted sharing of content on a large scale, our team built the site using the popular .Net based content management system, DotNetNuke.
Since what needed by the client was an article-based content management portal, UX and UI played a vital role during the development of the solution. We had to choose a design that enables the easy reading of the content by using a simple design that gives importance to text-based content. The Home Page is featured with main news headlines with short description and title. Considering the nature and role of Asia Insurance Review in the insurance industry, prominence was given to showcasing the upcoming events and a special space was allocated for it. Our team took extra care in neatly displaying products, magazines and other resources based on their importance. The solution also features an e-store to help visitors purchase all the published magazines, digitally.

- A news section to deliver the latest news in the insurance industry. Web Administrator can post the news and schedule a time to send. A functionality called ‘News Blast’ automatically publish the news on scheduled date and time.
- E-store with integrated shopping cart and payment gateway to enable various insurance companies, agents and readers to purchase magazines and articles published by Asia Insurance Review, online.
- Archives that are divided into major categories to aid readers to find older articles. The system automatically validates the date of the release of each magazine and it pushes the old one to archive. User can find older articles with the help of the search button located in the front.
- Events: Events can be published directly from the admin panel and users will be able to see the published events in real-time.
- Search & Advanced Search: Search function to help readers find their desired articles, hassle-free. An Advanced Search option is also there to get more refined search results.
- Newsletter: Daily news published on the website through Admin Panel is automatically converted to pre-fixed Newsletter templates and sent to subscribers.
